Mark Boyle
Cottonwood Community Church
Mt. Meadows Bible Camp been a part of Mark Boyle’s family for generations.  Mark’s father, Jerry Boyle, served as Mt. Meadows Camp Director for over 25 years.  While Jerry was Camp Director, Mark met his future wife, Elizabeth, as 4th graders at Junior Camp.  Mark and Elizabeth later served as Mt. Meadows Camp Counselors in college and Mark’s girls (Heather, Grace, and Hannah) have all worked and counselled at Mountain Meadows.  Mark Boyle is a Teaching Elder at Cottonwood Community Church and School Director of Cottonwood Creek Charter School.  Mark has shared that the highlight of Cottonwood Community Church’s year is their July Family Camp at Mt. Meadows.  Mark has seen Mt. Meadows impact thousands of lives for Christ and he counts it a privilege to serve on the board of Shasta Christian Youth.

Shawn Bainbridge
Neighborhood Church of Anderson/Cottonwood

Shawn has been involved in camp in many ways over the year. He and his family have been campers, volunteer staff, and camp counselors during our programmed camps and during guest groups as well.

Shawn has had the opportunity to serve in various children’s’ ministries in the past fifteen years such as high school youth ministry and AWANA Commander. He is a strong supporter of Mountain Meadows Bible Camp and would like to see the camp continue to glorify God with the gospel and discipleship.

Shawn put his faith in Christ alone as Lord and Savior at Mountain Meadows at a young age and has witnessed the impact for Christ camp has had in his children and others.

Their kids have also grown up through camp as campers, counselors, Mountain Valley Expedition leader, and pretty soon their oldest grandson will be old enough to be a camper (with the other grandkids to follow)! Steve and his wife live in Round Mountain and attend Oak Grove Bible Fellowship.

Mark McKinley
Neighborhood Church of Anderson/Cottonwood
Mark McKinley has served as a camp board member since 2008.  God used a camp youth ministry much like Mountain Meadows Bible Camp to lead him to the Lord when he was 12 years old.  He has seen God at work in the lives of many campers and staff at Mountain Meadows as well.  This is probably why he is so enthusiastic about Camp.  In 2014 he retired after teaching more than 30 years at Black Butte Elementary School in Shingletown.  Since then God has given him a surprising amount of joy working with the camp volunteer maintenance crew on the Tuesday work days.  Each of his five children have been campers and three of them have been counselors at camp.  Camp has been so important in their social and spiritual development.  He and his wife, Anne,  enjoy spending time outdoors in God’s creation.  Mountain Meadows Bible Camp, up in the fresh cool air, is a great place for that.

Dale and his wife started camp ministry at Hume Lake many years ago – and have continued that tradition of service at Mountain Meadows Bible Camp! They have three boys that have all been involved in camp one way or another. One through Child Evangelism Fellowship, one became a program director for a number of summers, and one has brought his new bride to camp as  counselors and music leaders whenever they can. Dale calls Cottonwood home and goes to Cottonwood Community Church.
